A new year has arrived! A fresh new start for you, me and FFT!
In case you don't know what's going on in this comic, here's a quick breakdown. Basically, there's a New Year's Eve party going on outside and they're loud and irritating the Ghost. He's trying to stick to his resolutions and contemplates nuking everyone (awesome).
In the end he sticks with his resolution and just shines his little laser around and isn't actually supposed to be calling down a nuke (since it's detached from the rifle, if that even matters).
Winter break has not been good for my comic production and hopefully everything will be back on track and in top shape once I get back to school and my workstation.
His rifle looks a little whack. Forgive me. Actually, a lot more than the rifle looks whack.
There's two little "easter eggs" or "throwbacks" or whatever hidden in the comic. One's easy to find but the other... not so much.
Haven't had one of these long commentary thingies in a while. A great way to start off the new year! Here's to bigger and better things (and comics)! -ks
The original idea for this comic was, for him to nuke their asses. Then he smiles at the camera and it says "nobody keeps resolutions anyway :)". I liked that idea better, but the concept that you never knew when he was gonna break the resolution appealed to me. That is the real point of the comic. When will our ghost break down and nuke some people again? - jngshin
